Rupal Shah, DMD

In professional practice for more than 10 years Dr. Shah has been improving smiles in Richmond VA since 2009.  Dr. Shah received her Doctorate of Medicine in Dentistry from Rutgers Dental School with a special focus and advanced courses in Dental Public Health. She also completed additional training at the General Practice Residency Program at John F Kennedy Hospital in Edison, NJ. While serving as a GPR resident, she developed her skills to provide comfortable, personalized care for her patients. Dr. Shah cared for many children and adults during her residency and has achieved a high level of success with complex cases. She works with a personalized approach to treating patients and ensuring their needs are answered. Her team is focused on keeping patients aware of their dental condition and provide the most fantastic results. Dr. Shah feels that it is important to keep on top of the advances in dentistry by taking continuing education courses. Dr. Shah continually educates herself and her team on the newest dental techniques to give you the best dental care possible.

Dr. Shah is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Women’s Dental Association, Richmond Dental Society and a member of the Spears Study Club. She is an active volunteer for various charitable organizations such as Mission of Mercy , give a kids a smile day, and Fundacion Ninos Que Rien and America India Foundation. She has a personal commitment to provide the highest quality of care available to her patients in a safe comfortable atmosphere.

Outside of dentistry, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. As a family they love the outdoors and can be found hiking and camping in their free time.

Dr. Billue

Dr. Billue’s journey in dentistry is marked by a commitment to excellence and community service. Raised in Radford, Virginia, she pursued her undergraduate education at the University of Richmond before earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) School of Dentistry.

Following her graduation, Dr. Billue embarked on a one-year residency at Palmetto Health in Columbia, South Carolina, where she gained extensive experience in various dental procedures, with a focus on oral surgery, implant placement and restoration, and sedation dentistry.

Driven by a passion for giving back, Dr. Billue prioritizes community engagement in her practice. She believes in providing comprehensive care that not only enhances her patients’ smiles but also promotes their overall health and well-being in a warm and comforting environment.

Outside of her professional commitments, Dr. Billue cherishes spending time with her husband and two children. She finds joy in activities like weightlifting and singing, with one of her most memorable moments being the opportunity to sing the National Anthem for Michelle Obama. Additionally, she nourishes her adventurous spirit through travel, having explored destinations like China during her dental school years and recently enjoying a trip to South Africa.

Dr. Billue’s multifaceted experiences and unwavering dedication to her patients and community underscore her as a compassionate and skilled practitioner in the field of dentistry.

Dr. Rachele Gillespie

Dr. Rachele Gillespie combines clinical excellence with a warm, empathetic approach, always striving to ensure her patients feel valued, understood, and genuinely cared for. To her, dentistry is not just about teeth, it’s about building trust and forming meaningful connections with every person she treats. Dr. Gillespie is deeply committed to providing a comfortable and positive experience for each of her patients. Whether you are coming in for a routine cleaning or a more complex procedure, she takes the time to understand your needs, answer your questions, and ensure you feel fully at ease.
 

Dr. Gillespie began her academic journey at Virginia Tech, where she graduated first in her class with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. Driven by a love of learning and helping others, she went on to complete a Master of Education at Radford University. She taught high school chemistry and mathematics in Chesterfield County before her long-standing interest in health care and helping people in a more hands-on way led her to pursue her dream of becoming a dentist. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry, followed by advanced training in the Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) Residency Program at VCU. Through this rigorous program, Dr. Gillespie deepened her skills in comprehensive dental care, patient-centered treatment planning, and advanced procedures.

A lifelong learner and natural researcher, Dr. Gillespie is constantly staying up to date with continuing dental education in the latest, safest, and most effective dental treatments in order to provide the highest quality care for you and your family. With her experience and passion for education, she equips her patients with the knowledge they need to care for their oral health and empowers them to make confident, informed decisions about their dental treatment.

When she’s not caring for her patients, Dr. Gillespie enjoys spending time with her friends and family around Virginia. She and her husband are proud parents to a baby boy, and they love exploring the outdoors, trying new local restaurants, and enjoying all that the Richmond area has to offer.
